Reflections- OZ Trip 2011

Reflections from OZ Trip : (date: 20- Sept 2011)

1. Always get connected with the universe. Feel your presence in this universe.
2. You and you alone is responsible for yourself and any actions of yourself
3. Express yourself. This will aid you to explore yourself.
4. Everything has a place in the universe. What we need to do is to find out the right place that best suited for us. No need to be panicky, as they can always find another peaceful place to live in harmony.
5. Dependency can reduce your strengths and erode/corrode your natural faculties. So be independent.
6. Anger has no place if we realize that everything is happening according to universal law or chain reactions.
7. Do everything artistically. Show the touch of personality reflecting through any of your work.
8. Trees are immovable and it is programmed to grow in a particular way, to produce the shape of leaves, colour of flowers and its smell and fruits given the right sunlight, water and soil. Man has several choices to improve this programmed outcome (basic). In other words, Man has to choose the available options (of different times) to better what has been programmed in us. Here comes the importance of effort to increase our energy level in making the choice. If we choose the lazier option, we will be in self-pity later on..
9. There are many type of trees in the millions of years old rain forests and all are different, but they live in harmony. Same story to marine world. Many creatures there are living in harmony.
10. Be compassionate
11. Self actualization is the only life’s goal. “Every individual, every plant and every animal has only one inborn goal- to actualize itself as it is”
12. There is a goal behind every existence. It may be long term or short term but there is a universal reason. This is applicable even for shape of hill or colour of soil or shore line.
13. ‘Taking Effort’ or to increase it, we need to use all raw materials like intelligence, skills, physical abilities, freedom, time, energy, money, rest etc. So effort doesn’t mean hard work.
14. We have to believe in something or someone to achieve our fullest potential. We have to believe in God or family or child or tree or sun or future generations or India or anything else. If we do everything for ourself, there is a chance that we are content at some point of time which stops us from doing further effort. If we are content without any effort from our part, which is also a good thing as negativity is eliminated by this, this virtue cannot lead us to achieve our fullest potential.
15. Enjoy whatever you do, and spread it to others by showing it off.
16. Elevate energy levels. Yoga, meditation, music, good friends, colours, painting, outdoor helps. Most importantly HOPE helps.
17. Many things are not happening through our conscious efforts. Condition the subconscious, make it trained and confident to tackle issues through raising energy levels.
18. Positive energy and self confidence are directly related. Similarly negative energy and tiredness. We can nurture + energy through getting praise, good work, hope, friendship etc.
19. Both positive and negative energy doesnot occur together. It is like a sine curve.Yoga helps to erase out negativism, but the effect vanishes within 1 to 4 days depending on situations, so the frequency of performing Yoga to be decided with this in mind.
20. Old time invention like rituals including classical music is a gift to the future generations. We need to understand the effect of this to help us in troubles and time of need.
21. Feel the presence of GOD when things are happening out of your control. When we are down and if someone extends a supportive hand knowingly or unknowingly to find the “kinara”, feel the presence of GOD in him.
22. Success in life is directly related to effort and passion & opportunity. The first 2 are in our hand. We are movable objects, which means we can move to a place wherever right opportunity exists. One can have passion to many things, which means one has the choice to do the things and to find the tight balance between passion, opportunity and effort to realize our fullest potential.
23. Concentrate on silence and not on surrounding sound (as given in books) to start meditation. Observe the in-between brief silence between thoughts and not on thoughts (as given in books) of the mind.
24. Avoid negative influences at all costs and more importantly don’t try to change them as our life is short and it is out of our scope of work in this ‘janma’. There are many positive influences to look forward to.
