Make Your Own Bangle Stand

Maha 2013

How to make Bangle stand from Waste?

Well, a very simple way to create your own flexible bangle stand. Try out the method explained here and upload photos!!

Take 1 liter transparent water bottle.
* First, we have to create an opening for easy access to bangles without removing other bangles to reach out for what we want.
*Using a paper knife as tool, cut along length as shown in the picture (First side of rectangle) , after leaving an inch on either side of the cylindrical part of bottle.
*Now, cut perpendicular to the first side, for 1.5", which forms 2nd side of the rectangular opening. The third side of the rectangle portion is parallel to the length of bottle similar to first side. Cut 3rd side.
*Finish the rectangle opening by cutting another 1.5" as 4th side.

*Line the edges with the help of paper towels or soft cotton. The can be stitched using stapler. Also, this can be attached with the help of transparent tape, which sticks well in the plastic bottle.

Your bangle stand is now ready to use.

Please post photos after inserting bangles in the beautiful bangle stand.
Advantages:
* Every bangle can be accessed individually without disturbing other bangles.
*  Full protection from wear and tear.
* The opening shape is such that it adjusts with any diameter of bangles
*There may be multiple diameter in the bottle, which can be conveniently used for varying outer diameter.
*The soft lining will protect your hands and bangles from any scratches.
*Can be stacked horizontally inside drawer or vertically over a table
as a decorated flower-vase.
